- 1995
- Founding of youngculture as sole proprietorship by Marco Zoppi.
- 1996
- Change of corporate form of youngculture into an incorporated company with 2 employees. The service spectrum encompasses consulting, web design, programming and hosting.
- 1997
- 3 employees. Mandates obtained from renowned customers: SBG, C&A, AllCom and Siemens Nixdorf.
- 1998
- Employees double to 6. New projects for Sony, Neue Luzerner Medien, Helsana, Sun Microsystems.
- 1999
- 9 employees. Development of web content management software webmanager®, first introduced at Orbit, which rapidly induces high demand. The project «ir.roche.com» is nominated as second best investor relations website by «Finanz und Wirtschaft».
- 2000
- Market interest in webmanager® continues to be high. In Spring Helsana opts for a companywide employment in the company intranet. Further installations follow rapidly, among others for Julius Bär, Callino Schweiz, Bernd Remmers Consultants, AllCom. The number of employees has risen to 17 and youngculture establishes a partnership with Oracle.
- 2001
- The release of webmanager® 2.2 is announced at the IEX and the licensing business is intensified. New customers include Adtcom, shaPE Capital and Interroll.
- 2002
- youngculture wins the Local Oracle Partner Award «Partner of the year 2002 Internet Platform». The site www.juliusbaer.com receives a Bronze Award from the «Financial Times» Online IR Rating. The development of the successful webmanager® is extended with release 2.5. New customers: Zürich Schweiz, Bon appétit Group.
- 2003
- «happyend.ch» is awarded the Best of Swiss Web seal of approval. In September the IR sites of Julius Bär and Bon appétit are awarded first and second prize by the newspaper «Finanz und Wirtschaft». youngculture now counts 20 employees. Bank Vontobel is won as a customer.
- 2004
- Founding of youngculture Southeast Europe in Belgrade. In Zurich youngculture strengthens its consulting team. Webmanager® 2.6 is launched. New customers: AIG Private Bank, Phonak.
- 2005
- Successful launch and market introduction of webmanager® 3.0. SNV Swiss Norm Association and JVC Switzerland are gained as customers.
- 2006
- Expansion of nearshoring in Serbia with a subsidiary in Nis. Launch of the Java-based cross platform server «Smith». New customers: ABN Amro, Karl Steiner AG. youngculture has grown to a total of 40 employees.
- 2007
- younculture further expands their nearshoring presence in Serbia, and at the end of 2007 counts 60 employees at its three locations in Zurich, Belgrade, and Nis. Our teams work for renowned Swiss clients in Java/JEE and .NET environments.
- Launch of of the new CMS version webmanager 3.5. Implementation of the new release for various clients, among them Bank Vontobel.
